Legal work

CAAH is involved in taking homophobic bigots to court. Please send information about queer legal cases to CAAH's COLT (CAAH Legal List) .

CAAH's legal list aim is to provide:

* Legal Research
* Legal Observers
* Legal Actions
* Advocacy

It is important to point out that everyone should feel free to throw ideas and information about:

* Actions & report-backs on current court cases
* Current & Pending legislation and its impacts on queers

LEGAL LAY-PERSON LIST

This group within CAAH is designed as a Network of queer law practitioners/students that advocates for queer rights (i.e. John Laws complaint) and to provide legal discussion/basic information services (i.e. Legal Observers). The CAAH Legal team is also designed to have information posted by people who only know a little bit about the law:

* Alerting the list to homophobic actions, vilification or discrimination in society
* Letting people know when you're making a complaint about homophobia to an organisation (i.e. Daily Telegraph)
* Requesting basic information on legal rights (i.e. Queer Rights Rallies)

  For further information, please visit the COLT website.
