CAAH invites the GLBTQI community to join us from 1pm at the "I have a dream" mural on King St, Newtown on May 17th.

International Day of Action Against Homophobia (IDAHO) was initiated in 2003, by Fondation Émergence and other lesbian, gay, transgender, intersex (LGBTI) organisations. It's aim was the complete, unlimited social acceptance of homosexuality is achieved and wiping out of homophobia. On May 17th, every year many LGBTI rights groups have campaigned against homophobia.

Community Action Against Homophobia took action on May 17th, 2008, outside Gloria Jeans, who through "Mercy Missions" fund anti-homosexual programs.
