Lodging A Complaint

This section relates to NSW law only. Other States and Territories may differ.

As soon as possible after the incident, write down everything that happened, and take note of the details. Record the time/date/place and whether you believe the police actually followed the law themselves. Please include as much detail as possible. Sign and date your notes.

REPORT ALL INCIDENTS that you have with Police at a beat to the Sydney Beat Project.

We also strongly encourage as many individuals, who are comfortable to do so, to make a formal complaint to the NSW Ombudsman and/or the NSW Anti-Discrimination Board. A greater number of complaints will help demonstrate the level of police harassment.

Also let us know that you've lodged a formal complaint - sydneybeatproject@gmail.com
